TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design and its main focus has always been the sharing of innovation and ideas in all fields. TED translates complex ideas worth spreading, into simple ones, thus catering for a larger audience. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Shahab Sharifi our Founder and Lead Organizer brouth this international platform in KabulUniversity by being licensed by TED international organization. By bringing this unique and adorable platform to Kabul University, We are committed to organize this event annually and make the opportunity to last and eternity. We want youth and thinkers from community to engage and work on ideas with wide range of impacts. By spreading these ideas, we will be able to show a new face of Afghanistan’s golden generation to the world. An era where ideas matter and is being considered for making destiny making decisions. Not only youth and students, but also a wide range of thinkers from different disciplines to gather and share ideas for a progressive Afghanistan and ultimately the world.

 

We want to bring visionaries, innovators, problem solvers, doers, funders, connectors, and their community into one space. We want to expose them to brilliant ideas. With all of these people gathered in one space, it's inevitable that sparks will happen ideas will find momentum, and positive transformation will take birth. This is our vision for TEDxKabulUniversity.
